We are always delighted to welcome any new string players (especially double basses).  Wind players and percussionists should make contact 01751 431879 or rachvb60@aol.com first to see whether vacancies exist.

We rehearse more or less every Tuesday evening during term time from 7.30 to 9.30pm in St Saviour's Church Hall, Gladstone Road, Scarborough (behind Sainsburys).  This venue is warm, well lit and comfortable, with helpful acoustics.  We break at half time for tea, coffee and a chat.  You are very welcome to come along and listen.

There is always a rehearsal on the afternoon of a concert day, usually from 2pm to 5pm.

If you are likely to have a problem with transport please enquire: lifts from other players might be available.   Our members come from as far away as Beverley, Bridlington, Guisborough, Helmsley, Malton and Whitby.
